People yawning when other people are yawning.
ResponderEliminarPeople can sometimes be seen yawning when other people do so. A 2015 study showed how yawning when others do could be a sing of being attuned to a persons emotions by giving college students personality tests and then made them see clips of people yawning and other facial expressions and showed how the more empathic kids yawned to the clips. An older test in 2010 showed that kids over the age of four started suffering from contagious yawning, and that students with any impaired empathy development where shown to yawn less. Not everybody yawns as approximately 60-70% of the people were shown yawning by a test made testing 328 healthy people with their sleepiness empathy and energy levels tested, from the 328 people 222 yawned which is approximately 67 percent. Animals like dogs can catch yawns as 22 dogs out of 29 where shown to yawn after a human did so.
Yawning is something we all do and can be contagious in a neutral way not negatively nor positively affecting people.
Using word counter
Tomas Rojas. Is yawning contagious?
ResponderEliminarSome people might say that yawing is contagious some other people no. You listen to these people and you ask yourself which one is right. Well actually 60 to 70% of the time you yawn because you see somebody else yawn or you are reading about yawing or you see a picture. But the real question is it contagious? The answer is yes because a lot of studies say that if you see someone yawn you yawn. Now you ask when i yawn why doesn’t a baby yawn? Well the answer is easy according to studies. Babies don't yawn because they haven’t developed empathy which makes you yawn.
Studies show that yawing isn’t something negative nor positive it just happen. Thank you for your time
Smartphones can cause you insomnia.Light exposure in the evening delays the melatonin surge. Two research groups in the U.K and the U.S published studies in 2001 showing that short wavelengths of light in the blue part of the spectrum are the most active in suppressing melatonin. The most common sleep disorder is sleepless which is when you are unable to fall asleep or remain asleep ,and its usually the main reason people look for sleep support supplements.Unfortunately, this sleep disorder is extremely common, many American adults experience it at point in their life’s.Many of us have become so dependent on smartphones, tablets, lab tops and other electronics devices that we even sleep with them.A poll conducted in2012 found that two in three taking it to bed with them. One problem is that the blue lights causes problem to sleep and to see because your eyes connected to waves.
ResponderEliminarWhat I learn today is that yawns can be contagious depending on the
ResponderEliminarempathy, age, and temperature. If you had a high empathy you can get yawns easily by seeing images of people yawning, books talking about yawns, and etc. Age depending to if you have a lower age then 4 years old you can’t get yawns.Do dogs yawn if people yawn if you had let’s said 30 dogs and 30 person the people yawn but only the 28 dogs of the 30 yawn so
it has not being proved now. People also yawn if they are tired or bored.Children with autism, who may have impaired empathy development, caught yawns less often than their peers.Correlation between diminished contagious yawning and schizophrenia, another condition linked to reduced empathy.Brain temperature in sleep deprived rats was higher than their core temperature and Siamese fighting fish yawn when they see their mirror image or another fighting fish, just prior to an attack.

Why is yawn contagious?
ResponderEliminarI have always been fascinated by yawning and what purpose it has to our bodily function, if any. Do we yawn out of boredom? Tiredness? Or some other reason? Yawning as a phenomenon has many people searching for the reasons of why we actually do it. In fact, the powerful contagious nature of yawning has puzzled researchers for decades.
Picture this, I was sitting in the Doctor’s office one day and it is all quiet with everyone trying to avoid eye contact. The person next to me opens their mouth as wide as it will go and sucks in the air, yawning. I didn’t see this person yawn but I still heard the distinctive sound and I soon realized that I couldn’t stop myself following suit. What trickery is this? In years gone by, this may even have been thought of as some form of witchcraft!
So the other night in my quest for answers, I was searching on TED for interesting talks. I was ecstatic to come across one that delved into the science on why yawns are so contagious! The speaker, Claudia Aguirre, gave some plausible explanations. I challenge you not to yawn the whole way through!

Why is yawning contagious?
ResponderEliminarAround 60-70% of people yawn when they see somebody else also yawn. In 2015 there was a study addressed contagious yawning in adults. In this study they gave college students personality tests and asked them to give video clips of their faces, which included their his or her yawning. The tests results indicated that students with lower empathy had less probabilities to catch a yawn. Some studies show that yawning isn't negative neither positive it just happens. A study in 2010 showed that yawning not contagious somebody until a child is about 4 years old, and that students with any impaired empathy development caught less yawns. While most of the people not everyone did. Once there was a test made testing 328 volunteers including their sleepiness, energy levels, and empathy levels were tested, from the 328 volunteers 222 yawned. The Duke study found statistical correctional between age and yawning. If you had a high empathy you can easily catch a yawn by just seeing somebody yawn or seeing a photo of somebody yawning.

Smartphone Insomnia
ResponderEliminarSmartphone Insomnia is a type of “illness” most of us citizens have. Consists of blue light preventing our sleep or circadian rhythm.Technically what the brain does is stoping melatonin, type of hormone that let’s US fall asleep, making us unable to reach sleep. It is proven that blue light or light itself stops the melatonin cycle.
I agreed on the facts on the informative statement.Though I highly agreed on this specific fact, “ Exposure to a lot of this type of light before we go to bed has been proven to suppress melatonin levels, making it difficult for us to fall asleep”.Although I was already informed about this; except for the melatonin process.
Us humans should really consider this; not only because it’s making us restless and not being able to sleep properly, but because it also damages our retina.I loved the passage and found it amusing!

ResponderEliminarWhat percentage of the human brain is used?
ResponderEliminarFor centuries people have believed that we can only use 10% of our brains, and “Oh if only we could unlock the rest of our brain we would be able to do so much more”, the much more being things like telekinesis and other superhuman like powers. The myth has latter been debunked by research, for example why would we even need so much “stuff” in our brain just for it to remain inactive? Humans are some of the most social, intelligent, and evolved beings on the planet thus the body simply discards what is unused/unnecessary. The ten percent belief was almost confirmed while neurologists ran tests on someone, and as they placed them to do different activities and they realized that some lobes went gray while others became bright and colorful. Further imagery, however, showed that those gray areas were simply being used to a lesser degree.
Everyone is different and that includes each brain. That is why someone you know could be blind, deaf, autistic,or paralyzed but you may not be any of these. Some diseases have caused people to use a lesser portion of their brain, such as aphantasia a mental illness that causes people to “have no imagination” or rather not being to see mental images. There have even been cases where a person’s brain is so advanced that they take multiple personalities;an illness known as D.I.D or dissociative identity disorder has gone to such extreme cases that one personality may have diabetes and another one could no completely healthy. In conclusion you DO in fact use all of your brain, but it depends on HOW you use it.

ResponderEliminarThe human brain ,the outer part of a humans brain is divided into six parts called the frontal lobe , the parietal lobe , the occipital lope , the temporal lobe , cerebellum, and the spinal cord. The brain is the most complex Organ in a humans body . Scientists have studied a humans brain and have concluded that only about 10 percent of the brain is used for power . A persons brain determines how they experience the world around them . A humans brain weighs about 3 pounds and contains 100 billion neurons. Human cell carry all the information from one part of the body to the other . According to a scientist in 2013 , 65 percent of Americans only used 10 percent daily. The humans brain is the vertebrates kingdom largest brain . The brain works like a computer it sends the information taken processes it and then sends it to the rest of the body. As a conclusion a humans brain works in many different ways and we only use 10 percent of it daily.
ResponderEliminarWhy we yawn ?
ResponderEliminarWe yawn when we are tired or bored but that is not the only thing yawns are contagious ? Some times people with only seeing some one yawning they yawn in the university of coneticut they start investigating about that they put proves to see what happen and no bod yawn then 328 volunteers ofer only 222 yawn at list one time but they continue trying age can be a whey for a yawn be contagious is like 8% probable so that is not that probable but that is on humans in animals can happen to but in a different way and investigating how animals yawn that can provide some clues to see how people catch yawns but that investigation is like in all the world and scientists still don’t now why we yawn.
Why checking your phone before bed spoils your sleep?
ResponderEliminarThe blue light emitted by screens on cell phones restrain the production of melatonin, the hormone that controls your sleep. Reducing melatonin makes it harder to fall and stay asleep. Besides increases your alertness at a time when you should be getting sleep. If you don’t get a good sleep you can alter-ate your nervous system. Scientists have found that overuse of phones before sleeping creates a stimulation pattern by other addictive behaviors, activate the same circuits in the teenage brain that are activated by eating chocolate or gambling. A lack of sleep overtime cause in some teenagers depression, emotional regulations, that is why we have to rest and sleep without using smartphones.
People say that we only use 10 percent of our brain but that is a lie because we humans use our brain at full capacity it is amazing that people think that we don't use our fill brain capacity but at daily activities, we use all of our brains it's pretty cool how our brains separated because let's say that you read a book every day one part of your brain is developed especially to read the fun fact is that our brain develops parts when doing an activity because musicians have a special part of there brain that only musicians have and if people that say that we only use 10 percent of our brain they need to use logic because you are gonna tell me that we only use 10 percent on our whole life that is just dumb because we do activities that require more than 10 percent so therefore we use more than 10 percent.
ResponderEliminarWhy stay with your cell phone spoils your sleep
ResponderEliminarIf you stay with your cell phone at night is bad you can ruin your eye because is bad seeing your cell phone without light you will stay using glasses and you need your 8 hours of sleep that the scientist say that your need 8 hours to sleep well and this is the end

People till these day are asking why is yawning contagious.
Why is yawning contagious?
ResponderEliminarI have always been curious to know why we yawn? Is it a human reaction, and the answer is yes we can simply yawn, cause we are sleepy, tired, thinking about it, or seeing other people doing it, and some people because, they are old, or because they have medical issues, animals can yawn to, animals such as chimpanzees and dogs can yawn to just like us, some people think that only when we are kids we yawn but no, we can yawn of many reasons, some people are much attractive to yawn and some people can resist, some people say that if you yawn with your eyes open they can go off and yes they can but it has to be very very open moust likely with the intention of doing it.

ResponderEliminarWhat Percentage of the Human Brain Is Used?
ResponderEliminarI chose this topic because i found it an interesting this topic. I read the article and it was about the myth “A human brain uses a 10% of it capacity”, and actually i dont believe it because thanks to all this modern science and technology today, scientist have images of our human brain that prove that we humans use all of our brain capacity in our daily routine.
Scientists don't really know which is the real origin of the myth but they say it spread from self helping books. A really important fact is that if you get a part of the brain named Broca’s area with the minimum damage it can cause a very bad thing, what is it you will ask your self, well what happens is that your brain has problems with speech, which will cause you to have some difficulties while you try to talk, your speech will be mixed up and you will say thing you don't want to Say. It is like if you lose control of your mouth but inside your brain you know wha t you want to say. In my opinion i think the myth is false and you still have to take care of your brain seriously because it is very important to have a healthy brain for our daily life.

Why is yawning so contagious?
ResponderEliminarEvery person in this world yawn, as well as most vertebrate animals. Such as dogs, cats, snakes, sharks, and chimpanzees. Yawning is so contagious but not everyone catches a yawn. Only around 60%-70% of the people catch a yawn.
The most popular theory of yawning is that it serves as a form of non-verbal communication with people.Catching a yawn shows the persons emotions.
In 2010 in the university of Connecticut they concluded that yawning does not become contagious until you are four years old and your empathy skills develop. In 2015 scientists made an experiment with college students, and they were asked to see a video clip of persons yawning, the results were that if you have low empathy you were less likely to catch a yawn, in the other hand if you have high empathy you were most likely to catch a yawn. People commonly yawn if they are tired or bored.

Smartphone insomnia
ResponderEliminarChecking your phone right before bed can lead to distract emotions thoughts and anxiety. Smartphones were designed to entertain our selves and be more productive. Even tho we all usually right before going to sleep we have the habit to check our social media, and then put it to our side or even under our pillow. Every time we check our electronics the blue light of them produces a hormone on our body that’s named melatonin, this hormone the one in charge for controlling our sleep-awake. Blue light is not only bad for our eyes but is really bad for our brain too. Having our electronics in the day it’s no totally bad, but if we are talking about night is one of the worst things that we can do for our body and mental health.

ResponderEliminarStudy’s had discovered that yawning is contagious because their latest findings show that our ability to resist yawning when someone else near us yawns is limited. And our urge to yawn is increased if we are instructed to resist yawning. But, no matter how hard we try to stifle a yawn, it might change how we yawn but it won't alter our propensity to yawn. Importantly, they have discovered that the urge to yawn , our propensity for contagious yawning is individual to each one of us.
ResponderEliminarStephen Jackson, Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience, in the School of Psychology, led the multidisciplinary study. He said: "We suggest that these findings may be particularly important in understanding further the association between motor excitability and the occurrence of echophenomena in a wide range of clinical conditions that have been linked to increased cortical excitability and/or decreased physiological inhibition such as epilepsy, dementia, autism, and Tourette syndrome."
Also yawning can be contagious because our brain is mentally triggered that involuntarily when we observe another person do it we do it , and it's not just humans who have a propensity for contagious yawning chimpanzees and dogs do it too.

According to an interviene with heurologist barry Gordon we use more than 10 percent of our brain and I belive that kids use more of there brain than adultos normal use every day situacións, becuase they are active all most all the time they learn faster and they repet what they see and hear, they ha e good memory and a big imagination.
ResponderEliminarIt is said that humans only use 10% of their brains and that if there was a person could unlock the other 90% they would be incredibly smart and genius. They also say that you could get psychiatric powers like mind reading or telekinesis. Although, this is just a theory and there’s a lot of evidence debunking the 10% of brain theory. Scientists have also proved that humans use their entire brain in a daily basis multiple times. Although it has been proved a theory many people has used it as inspiration in culture and have made some movies and TV series about it. There’s also people that say that you might achieve 90 % of brain power by using scientifically created powerful “godlike” drugs but scientists deny it. In my opinion it would be amazing if we only used 10% of our brain but afterward were able to use a higher percentage to innovate the world and make it limitless and awesome.

Its incredible how a myth that somebody created are believed by scientists and how lots and lots of people also believe it. I think theres no way that we can use only 10% of our brain to recognize colors, write, etc. I also believe that if we used “10% of our brains” there shouldn’t be names for the rest of the sections of our brain, why would there be names for the sections of our brains, it would make no sense, honestly. Its also very impressive how one person, just one single human in the entire Earth that has 7,757,986,478 as of right now! (That population has grown to atleast 7,757,987,389 when I post this). That 10% myth is fake and we all should know it by now, because of the technology we have today, we are advancing and discovering something - Ricardo Díaz

Why is yawning contagious?
ResponderEliminarIt is confirmed that from 60% to 70% of humans yawn when they see another person yawn and it is confirmed that not only human but other animal which have a vertebrate like dogs, cats, etc. also catch yawns when they see other animals or sometimes human yawn. They say that we might catch someone’s yawn because our age and that if we are less than 4 years old we might not catch yawns because some studies say that kid can’t catch a yawn until they are 4 years old. They also say that some people are genetically programmed to not catch yawns or old people may not catch yawns either. When talking about animals they say that if you yawn and a dog sees you doing it he might catch a yawn but if you only open your mouth he is not going to catch the yawn. Cats also catch yawns and sometimes us catch yawns only seeing pictures, clips or simply reading about yawns. A test made to 328 persons with a god empathy and energy levels tested showed that of those 328 persons in the test only 222 yawned back which says that the theory that said from 60% to 70% of people catch the yawn since 222 out of 328 is approximately 67%. They also made a test to dogs in which 29 dogs where present but only 22 dogs yawned back when a human yawned.
-Saúl Reyes :D
Everyone yawns and some animals also do. Yawning might be contagious but only for 60-70% of people, and for some people reading about yawns is enough to cause them yawn.Scientists have proposed many theories for why we catch yawns, one of them is that yawning serves as a form of nonverbal communication, scientist also say that a children who is less than 4 years old can’t catch a yawn and children with autism catch yawns less often then kids who don’t have autism, they have also discovered that people with lower empathy are less likely to catch yawns. scientists tried to make 328 healthy volunteers watch a video of people yawning and about 222 people yawned at least one time. People might be very likely to catch yawns and most of the time its about age, empathy or about a illness but sometimes its about how healthy you are.

I just want to start by saying I do not think we yawn because of temperature or empathy. I think we yawn because of many reasons but not those. I think we yawn because of many reasons, for example, boredom, tiredness or sleepiness. Personally I yawned a lot while reading this article, I yawned every time I read the word yawn. I do think it is possible that yawning is a way of communicating with others. Maybe we share the same boredom. I also believe the age theory is possible, but maybe instead, old people yawn when they see old people yawn or maybe babies yawn when they see other babies yawn. I think animals yawn when they see humans or other animals yawn is because somehow they have found a way to relate with humans and other animals. Even after reading this article I do not think there is a reason why we yawn I just think we do.
ResponderEliminar-Valeria Mendoza 6-A
I read about why yawning is contagious and I learned that 60-70% of people yawn wen they see other people yawn in real live, because in videos, photo or even read about it, but not everybody catch a yawn in this occasions. This is also an effect on animals, but that does not mean that they are the same. YAWNING SIGNALS EMPATHY: The most common type of contagious yawning is nonverbal communication. This means that if you yawn because this theory, it means that you are attuned to a person’s emotions. The study also says that you develop yawning contagious until 4 years old. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CONTAGIOUS YAWNING AND AGE: The Research at the Duke Center for Human Genome Variation published in the journal PLOS ONE, to define the factors that help to contagious yawning. They made an experiment with people, they made them see videos of people yawning, and not every body yawned. CONTAGIOUS YAWNING IN ANIMALS: Some studies says that like humans, chimps only react to contagious yawning after the 4 years old, and that they respond with actual yawns, not with videos of chimps just opening their mouth. Dogs also respond with human yawning, dogs react to contagious yawning after the 7 months. They are many other studies from this only question: WHY ARE YAWNING CONTAGIOUS? Thank you!

We’ve all experienced yawning, and it’s a very common “reflect” we could say. Fun fact about yawning, there’s no “accurate “ reason of why do we yawn there’s some theories about why we yawn but the most common one is the one stating that yawning is a way our body refreshes our brain. But yawning is contagious, but why? Actually 60-70% of the population catches yawns. It all my vary by your health, age, or genetic but it’s most common we catch yawns because of empathy. I catch yawn A LOT even writing this paragraph made me yawn probably 4 times already which is interesting because I didn’t yawn while reading the original article until I saw the gif of the man yawning.
Well, i guess that’s all for me this time, hope you’d enjoy my paragraph, Bye.
We humans use our brains like about a 100% of our lives. For example; we use our brains to breath, to think, to write what I am writing now, to do what you are doing now, etc. There was this myth that many people believed and believes that says that we only use the 10% of our brains. Scientists have researched and discovered that this is false and that it is not true. It is actually not logical at all because if you think it well you notice that if we only use 10% of our brains, 90% is being wasted in nothing and useless. Our brain makes of about 2 or 3% of our bodies and takes up of like 20% of our energy. I think that al least I, use up of about 80 to 90% of my brain capacity ( in knowledge, thoughts, creativity, etc ) daily. So to resume, the myth of the “10% of our brain” is false, completely not true, and not logical at all.

Why are yawns contagious ?
ResponderEliminarYawns can be contagious there have been many theories of why they are contagious they say it might depend on your age, empathy and temperature.Around 60% to 70% of people yawn if they see someone else yawning in real life in a video or a photo ,yawning does not become contagious until a child is 4 years old, people with lower empathy were less likely to catch yawns however they link yawning and empathy , yet It is still inconclusive.Another theory of contagious yawning is that is like a form of a nonverbal communication , they also said catching a yawn shows how you are attuned to a persons emotions this evidence comes from a research in 2010 at the University of Connecticut . Yet with all this theories scientists aren’t completely sure why are yawns contagious as said before it might be linked to the age empathy , but there isn’t an underlying reason why it isn’t being well understood.

We all have yawned in our life but why if someone else yawns we do so , but yawns aren’t only contagious to humans that are also for dogs and chimpanzees , but WHY in the earth do we have to yawn when someone else does if we aren’t even tiered experts have said that the human propensity for contagious yawning is triggered automatically by primitive reflexes in the primary motor cortex which is a part of our brain that controls motor function , but not 100 % of people are contagious to yawning only 60 or 70 % of them , Contagious yawning is triggered involuntarily when we observe another person yawn which is a very common form of echophenomena that is the imitation of another’s words (echolalia) or actions (echopraxia) however experts say that our ability to resist yawning when someone else near us yawns is limited. And our urge to yawn is increased if we are instructed to resist yawning. But, no matter how hard we try to stifle a yawn, it might change how we yawn but it won't alter our propensity to yawn.

ResponderEliminarSo what do I think is that any device would insomnia because it makes your brain think of what you were doing and won’t let you sleep. You would want to see your device if you wanted to go to sleep after being with it.So that’s why it’s better to sleep while reading a book or if you were talking with someone. When the eyes see the screen it tell the brain to stay awake. Then you stay awake until your brain produce a liquid that tell you to go to sleep. And if you don’t get 5 to 7 hours of sleep for most of us humans will affect our concentration through the day.So we need to be healthy and sleep and put away the devices with screens before sleeping so we can sleep better. And yes this are facts instead of my mind and you can get deceases if you don’t sleep well, Thank you for your time.
Is bad to use phone because for awer brain and You probably don’t even realize how your smart phone habits are affecting your sleep and your brain’s health. What may seem like a harmless habit to you – jumping into bed and opening up your phone – can actually have a big impact on your overall health.and smart phones were designed to make us more productive and our lives easier They’re designed to entertain us and provide information. But when it’s time to turn off the lights and go to sleep, the last thing our brain needs is more information and more entertainment. (And that seems fair enoug. And also if we studying for a exam and at night the things that you will erase all the things. What can make this habit even worse is feeling the need to constantly be connected and available. Dr. Walia warns against the idea that you have to immediately answer, respond, post or scroll. The smart phone era has forced us to feel like we can never really log off, even when we’re sleeping.

You may here by many TV shows, documents,or even essays about how humans use the maximum potential of 10 % of there brain and if we use more potential of our brain we can inherit powers like mental reading ,or having telekinesis which is a phenomenon that consist of the transportation of objects without something to intervene. If by any chance you belief these theories i am so sorry to tell you that you are complete wrong, cause we gradually use all our mental potential in our daily life and ,scientist by many types of written essays or articles have confirmed that we usually use more than the 10% percent of our mental energy.By even having the simple mental activity of differentiate colors ,or even reading a message from your phone you are already using more than the 10% of our ¨comfort zone ¨ of 10% of mental potential energy.
You may hear that some of the people only use the 10% of the human brain.Maybe you’ve heard that if you unlock the other part of the brain you’ve had superpowers or you’ll be superior to the other people. Over the years the brain scientist have shown that specific parts of the human brain have either had a responsible job or a specific function . Some reptiles and mammals and birds consumed about 2 to 8% of their body’s energy. Some people say it is a myth that the humans use only the 10% of the human brain. In my opinion I said is there is there is not a myth that it’s true because I am only past 24 seven with the smartphones. If you damage a single part of the human brain he can take devastating consequences to the human brain. If you damage the Broca’s area it may damage the formation of word and fluent speech.

Why are yawns contagious?
ResponderEliminarI always wondered why are yawns contagious, but never knew why . I read and learned that kids under the age of 4 don’t have contagious yawns . Yawns are contagious to people of many ages , not only humans but animals too . Yawns are contagious not only when you see someone yawning when somebody talks about it you start doing it too when you read about it or even write it ( like I’m doing know , I’m literally yawning in this precise moment ) . Persons with empathy don’t have contagious yawns. Many students have making tests to adults or quizzes , so they can analyze the constantly yawn when they talk or write or see videos about yawns . I liked the information about yawns for me it was interesting and fun to read . (now I can’t stop yawning ! )

ResponderEliminarWhy are Yawns Contagious?
ResponderEliminarEvery person yawns. So do many other vertebrate animals, including snakes, dogs, cats, sharks, and chimpanzees. Around 60-70% of people yawn if they see another person yawn. Scientist have proposed many theories for why we catch yawns. There’s the one that says that yawing serves as a form of nonverbal communication. This means that catching a yawn shows you’re attuned to a person’s emotions. However, the link between yawing and empathy is inconclusive. Research at the Duke Center for Human Genome Variation, published in the journal PLOS ONE, sought to define the factors that contribute to contagious yawing. In the study, 328 healthy volunteers were given a survey that included different types of measures. The volunteers watched a video of people yawning and counted how many times they yawned while watching it. Of 328 participants, 222 yawned at least once. The point is that scientists aren’t sure why is yawing contagious. There are many theories, but there just that, theories.
Why is yawning contagious?
ResponderEliminarNext time you're sitting near someone who yawns, try this: Don't yawn. Odds are, you'll find that it's pretty difficult to hold back.
Every person yawns. So do many vertebrate animals. While yawning is contagious , not everyone catches a yawn. Around 60 to 70% of people yawn in real life or in photo or even read about yawning. Scientists have proposed many theories for why catch yawns.
Catching a yawn shows you’re attuned to a person’s emotions. Scientific evidence comes from a 2010 study at the University of Connecticut, which concluded yawning does not become contagious until a child is about four years old, when empathy skills develop.
Why is yawning contagious?
ResponderEliminarEveryone you know, yawn. Your mom, your siblings, the world yawns, as well as vertebrate animals. Like dogs, cats, snakes, sharks, etc. Yawning is very contagious but not everyone gets to yawn. Only around 60%-70% of the people have a yawn.
The most popular theory of yawning is that it serves as a form of non-verbal communication with people.having a yawn shows the persons emotions.
Not all yawns are the same. Most of us yawn and stretch when we wake up or go to bed, yawn when we are bored or when we need to “pop” our ears after traveling in high altitudes, and even yawn just because we saw someone else yawn. In the other hand if you have high empathy you were most likely to have a yawn. People are likely to yawn if they are tired or bored. Yawning serves a social function.
The study of yawning is very boring. You catch a yawn whenever you are doing something you don’t like, when you are tired and when you are having no fun, or be bored.

ResponderEliminarYawning is contagious?
I can guarantee you without any problem that he has never asked you that, yes it is yes, it is nothing new the fact that yawning ends up contagious as well as happiness, many think that it only happens in the absence of sleep or something, yes it is that Yes, it also means that but they have already had studies from different universities that point to the same, for example there is a university in Connecticut that conducted a study in a distant 2010 where it was clarified that the ability to yawn is acquired after 4 years of age. base of empathy, and of course it is not necessary to be sleepy to yawn, just by seeing a photo, video or in that case talking, writing, or reading the subject, a certain contagious skill develops if I can tell you that, and that is we are not the only ones on earth enabled of it, also other animals such as cats, dogs and even snakes are capable of this.

What percentage of the human brain is used?
In this article, I learned that: Neuropsychology studies how the anatomy of the brain affects someone’s behavior, emotion, etc. I did not know a single neuron is not inactive; we use all of our brain on a daily basis.
I always thought that in brain images, that the colored splotches in a grey brain mean that just the bright spots have brain activity, but it means that there is just more brain activity in the splotches but all the brain is still active. If the 10% myth was true, damage to the rest of 90% of the brain would not daily functioning. If even a small part of your brain got damaged, it would have severe consequences. Is not clear how did the 10% myth got known all around the world, but some people believe that the reason is self-help books

WHY ARE YAWNS SO CONTAGIOUS?
ResponderEliminarMaybe yawns can come when you feel so tired or the yawning can happen even though you don't feel so tired yawns maybe.Yawns can be created by the tire you are the more yawns you give it means that you are so tired you may fall asleep while you are yawning you can now when you really feel tired or you can feel with your own body that you are very tired.
For example,if you see persons yawning it could affect you by the yawns that the other person yawn it makes you yawn like the person that yawn.sometimes yawns are so good but some lives you crying by closing to much the eyes or sometimes it lives you with the mouth hurting because when you are yawning you feel that you would like to open the mouth and later it hurts so bad but it goes like in 5 or 8 minutes but I feel that I’m not to streesed when I start yawning. Well this is my opinion.
People use the 10 percent of the brain and that is the normal thinking of a human but if you read you can develop more percentage in the brain like 15 30 my grandfather said that a person doesn't stop to learn that every person can learn more
